Duration: 1 Year

Responsibilities:                                                                                                                                                    

- Comprehends the functional and technical aspects of the platforms

- Able to fix modules /defects with very low supervision required

- Understands requirements and writes code and unit tests for platform tasks

- Develops detailed flowcharts to show processing logic for simple programs.

- Prepares documentation of all procedures used in system.

- Documents architectural decisions and helps maintain standards within the platform

- Designs and codes programs; creates test transactions and runs tests; revises as necessary

- May direct work of junior developers and coordinate the work of on-site vendors that support off-shore development

Basic Qualifications:

 - High School diploma, GED, equivalent certification or military experience

- At least 1 year of experience in application development

- At least 1 year of experience with Unix shell scripting

- 1+ year of experience with document composition tools (ie: HP Exstream Dialogue)

Preferred Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business or Engineering

- 1+ year of experience with C++ programming

- Sun certified Java programmer/developer

- 1+ year of experience with relational databases (ie: Oracle, DB2, etc.)

- Experience with Ant, ClearCase or other software configuration and versioning tool
